Multinational Transport Hub

Working with a major airport operator and IT service integrator we delivered a fully integrated telephony network hardware.

This included the installation of the fibre and copper backbone network which supplies connectivity to CCTV, ACS, BMS, Flight information displays and airport systems including check-in and guidance systems.

We have worked with an international law firm to replace their entire global intranet service. CCM managed the IT system design, deployment and testing, as well as championing the business change within the organisation, and all internal communications.

CCM was also been engaged by another large global law firm to centralise their HR recruitment system and processes. This project involved a broad stakeholder engagement approach to bring the diverse global HR teams along on the change journey, software selection and change deployment.

Our client, with 5,000 users across 26 offices worldwide was challenged with costly operating systems residing on expensive, end of life hardware which supported business critical systems including SAP, Documentum, and Oracle Databases.

Virtualisation for Financial and Environmental Benefit

Over two years, the CCM project management team delivered a highly complex technical project within the £500k budget resulting in cost avoidance savings of £800k per year. The environmental savings are equivalent to reducing the datacentre footprint by 25%, contributing to the company’s commitment to carbon reduction.

Remediating Network Red Risks

Managing the replacement of numerous legacy systems onto a single converged Local and Wide-Area Network with a budget of £45m over three years. CCM provided three key Programme Managers, ten Project Managers, a Project Management Office and a team of Implementation Engineers.

Technology Change to Leverage Knowledge

Following an extensive Analysis and Options phase, CCM engaged a knowledge specialist to provide an off-the-shelf Search solution that allowed for several customisations, aligning the bespoke search solution with the client’s requirements, allowing them to leverage knowledge from both within the firm and external sources.

Improving the IT Projects' Portfolio ROI

CCM Portfolio and Product Management provided end-to-end management and successfully increased the ROI of technology projects from under £500k to nearly £11m in just three years. The reputation of the IT Departrment has increased and led to closer relationships with internal customers.

Operational Risk Remediation

Global SAP upgrade delivered to plan and within budget. A core team of 35 people worked on the project for seven months, peaking at 60 people. The 400 man days of global User Acceptance Testing ensured a high quality result – only 5 issues were logged during the cut over, and all were swiftly resolved. The project is judged a major ‘win’ for the IT department.
