Early on Sunday morning the tired but elated team of 12 returned to the car park at the base of Snowdon completing the 3 Peaks challenge – summiting the largest mountains in Scotland (Ben Nevis), England, (Scafell Pike) and Wales (Snowdon). The team completed 24 miles of hiking, 3, 000 meters of ascending and spent 14 hours in the minibus over the weekend.
The team braved challenging weather conditions throughout the weekend and faced 50mph wind and rain on the Scafell Pike descent at night. An incredible team effort from all.
We’ve raised over £4,000 so far for our two charities: BHF and Demelza Hospice for Children.
