As a key supplier to Fujitsu, City Change Management congratulate Fujitsu and Heathrow on their major win at the “UK IT Industry Awards Ceremony”
City Change Management have a long standing supplier partnership with Fujitsu and are extremely proud of their association with them and to have played a major role in the delivery programme that has contributed to the award of “Network / Infrastructure Project of the Year” at the UK IT Industry Awards for their work on Heathrow’s new Terminal 2 ‘Queens Building’.
Fujitsu and Heathrow won the award for their multi-million pound Network Infrastructure project during the construction of the new Terminal 2. This challenging delivery was achieved by a combined Fujitsu and CCM workforce. The team implemented the terminal’s integrated network which underpins the entire passenger journey through Heathrow airport, including security, building management, self-check-in and bag drop systems.
There are benefits for both Heathrow employees and passengers, with access to state of the art Wi-Fi and travel services that are leading to reduced waiting times at check-in, security and baggage reclaim.
In Fujitsu’s words, CCM were “the ideal partner to support the delivery of a programme of this scale and complexity” – not only for our aviation expertise, but for our experience of working in a complex construction environment and our ability to provide a highly skilled yet flexible resourcing solution.
We are delighted for our partner, Fujitsu, that this high profile project has now been recognised by the wider IT industry.
